
Our Story

Born and raised in Italy, Flaminia always had a passion for food. This passion led her into culinary school where she refined and honed her cooking ability.
While in Italy, Flaminia worked as a chef in famous restaurants all across Rome, from the very center of the city to a beachside restaurant. She also catered for weddings and events in a wonderful location in the countryside of Rome.
After several years in the culinary world, Flaminia turned her attention towards another goal- becoming a lawyer. Once her husband Marco was promoted to regional manager in North America, Flaminia decided to leave her job as a lawyer in Italy and follow her husband to the United States.
For the last year and a half she has lived in Idaho and has dreamt of opening up her own Italian restaurant; but like any great sauce, it takes some time to develop. After lots of waiting, her dreams have finally come true and Mama Fla Authentic Italian Cuisine is coming to you!
